CAMPAIGN DETAILS

Q: Why did Jiffy Lube® create the Maintenance Partners for Life campaign?
A: To benefit the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the number one killer of Americans, accounting for 36 percent of all deaths in the United States each year. Almost 80 million people in the U.S. have some form of CVD.

The American Heart Association (AHA) is a natural partner for us because there are strong parallels between maintaining a healthy heart and a healthy engine. Just as doctor check-ups and healthy eating habits help keep your heart in good shape, preventive maintenance check-ups and proper maintenance help preserve your vehicle and keep it running properly.

In the first two years of the Jiffy Lube Maintenance Partners for Life (MPFL) campaign, we have raised more than $2.3 million for the cause through this campaign. Our employees and customers have told us the campaign resonates with them, and they have really stepped up to support the cause. Heart disease is highly relevant to our customers and we feel strongly about giving back to the communities in which we serve. This year, Jiffy Lube hopes to raise $1 million to help Go Red For Women fund critical research and education programs to help fight heart disease.

Q: How does the MPFL campaign raise money?
A: From February 1 through March 14, 2010, Jiffy Lube customers can donate $3 to the AHA’s Go Red For Women movement at more than 1,650 participating service centers across the United States. Visit www.JiffyLubeGoesRed.com to find a participating location in your area. This represents more than 85% percent of all Jiffy Lube locations. In return, they will receive a MPFL savings book that offers more than $100 in savings at Jiffy Lube.

Q: How long have Jiffy Lube and the AHA partnered in the MPFL campaign?

Q: Are all Jiffy Lube service centers participating in the MPFL campaign?

Q: Why isn’t my local Jiffy Lube participating in this campaign?
A: Jiffy Lube service centers are independently owned and operated, and participation in this partnership is optional. More than 85 percent of all Jiffy Lube service centers across the country are participating in MPFL. However, if you would like to donate online, please visit www.JiffyLubeGoesRed.com.

Q: Can the terms of this campaign change?
A: Jiffy Lube and the AHA reserve the right to change, modify or cancel this campaign without notice.

DONATIONS

Q: What percentage of my $3 donation will go to the AHA?
A: One hundred percent of customer donations go to the AHA’s Go Red For Women movement. Donations support awareness, education, local community programs and research focused on heart disease in women.

Q: How much will Jiffy Lube donate to the AHA’s Go Red For Women movement?
A: One hundred percent of customer donations will go to the AHA’s Go Red For Women movement and there is no cap on the amount we donate – all donations we receive will go to the cause. Jiffy Lube will donate a minimum of $500,000, but our goal is to raise $1 million to benefit the cause.

Q: Where will the funds raised be distributed?
A: Funds raised through the MPFL campaign will benefit local AHA offices in the communities in which they were raised.

Q: Can I donate to MPFL online?
A: Yes, you can visit www.JiffyLubeGoesRed.com to make a donation online.

Q: Can I donate to AHA in addition to my $3 MPFL donation?
A: Absolutely! Donations will be accepted in $3 increments, but there is no limit to how many books you can receive in exchange for a $3 donation. Any further donations can be made at www.JiffyLubeGoesRed.com.

Q: Is my $3 MPFL donation(s) tax deductible?
A: Yes.

Q: Will I receive a receipt for my $3 MPFL donation?
A: Yes, your donation will be noted on your Jiffy Lube service invoice. It will appear as “$3donation Amer Heart Asoc”.

SAVINGS BOOKS

Q: Can I use multiple MPFL during the same service visit at Jiffy Lube?
A: Customers can use multiple Jiffy Lube MPFL coupons for different services performed during the same visit, but they cannot use multiple coupons for the same service.

Q: Can I use my Jiffy Lube MPFL coupon(s) for services performed on my vehicle at the time I donate?
A: Participating service centers – at their discretion – may elect to accept coupons during the same visit in which you make a donation.

Q: Can I get a replacement MPFL savings book if I lose mine?
A: No. Each MPFL savings book is provided in exchange for a $3 donation to Go Red For Women.

Q: Can I give MPFL savings book coupons to anyone else to redeem?
A: Yes. Anyone can redeem your MPFL savings book coupons for services on any vehicle. But each coupon can only be used once.

Q: Do the coupons in the MPFL savings book expire?
A: Yes, each coupon will have different expiration dates depending on the type and service. However, all Jiffy Lube coupons will expire by December 31, 2010.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of MPFL savings books I can receive?
A: No. Customers will receive one MPFL savings book for every $3 they donate at a participating service center. You can donate as many times as you like, and receive corresponding savings books for each donation – provided the service center you visit is participating in the MPFL campaign.

Q: If I donate more than $3, will I receive two or more savings books?
A: Customers will receive one MPFL savings book for every $3 they donate at a participating service center.

Q: If my local Jiffy Lube isn’t participating in MPFL, how can I donate to receive a savings book?
A: You must visit one of the more than 1,650 participating Jiffy Lube service centers to receive a MPFL savings book. To find the participating Jiffy Lube nearest you or to make a donation online, visit www.JiffyLubeGoesRed.com.

Q: Can I redeem my MPFL savings book coupons for cash instead of services?
A: No. The savings book coupons are only redeemable for their stated Jiffy Lube preventive maintenance service(s).

Q: Can any other offers (loyalty cards, other coupons, etc.) be combined with Jiffy Lube MPFL savings book coupons?
A: Acceptance of any other offers is at the sole discretion of the owner/operator of the participating Jiffy Lube service center you visit.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax on my free or discounted Jiffy Lube services redeemed with my MPFL savings book coupon(s)?
A: For ‘discount-coupon’ services, you only have to pay for any applicable taxes, fees, or charges on the undiscounted portion of the service(s). For any additional service(s) you purchase, you only have to pay for all applicable taxes, fees or charges.

Q: Can I still use the MPFL savings book coupons I received last year for donating to the campaign?
A: No as these coupons expired December 31, 2009.
